Beautiful camera. Love the picture quality. In fact I liked it so much that I got 3 of them. No complaints on quality. Looks sturdy and well built. So far so good. It is on the car for more than a week. I want to see it in the summer. I hope she will stand the heat just fine. Night picture is very good. Very good contrast. Need to pay attention to the mounting. Supports 256 Gb micro SD card. Make sure you use a dash cam SD card, with high endurance. It will last a long time. So I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a good dash cam. Buy it and you will be happy. The service is very good. Minolta tech support is very nice and very helpful. I had a very good experience with them. They even send me f3 free usb cable. Thank you Minolta for a good product and support.
This was delivered on time as stated by Amazon. It was easy to set up and includes a windshield mount, data card and long power cord. The camera provides great peace of mind and has a vey wide view angle.
Things that aren’t so good, but are not necessarily a deal breaker:No quick release from the suction mount — it’s not fun to change settings with it in place for use.The menu system is confusing. The headlight warning (headlights are off when in fact they’re on). You can turn this off.The power cord is fairly thick and may not tuck into small crevices. What you may want to know that’s not in the instructions:It takes sequential videos that default to 3 minutes. This can be changed to 1 or 5 minutes. The 16gB card that comes with it will hold a bit over 90 minutes before overwriting the oldest of the videos. The max card that can be used is 64gB — about 6 hours of video before it starts overwriting older files.I advise getting two 64 gig chips. If you have need to save a video, turn the cam off and take the chip out, replacing it with one that you don’t need to save video from. They say you can lock a video so it won’t be overwritten, but it’s not clear if that means ALL videos out just the most recent. You can turn off the audio so it won’t record. And you can set the cam to record with a higher dynamic range. I did both of those.Hope this is helpful!
This is a pretty good dash cam, and the quality is great. Only complaints are is that it doesn’t have an app to view the footage from your phone, and I do have to adjust it frequently due to it moving around while I’m driving.
I now have three of these (first was from last year and still going strong). Solid forward facing dash cam with a nice sized screen, unlike many other lightweight/ cheap ones on the market.
